Vedana Lagoon Rooms & Villas: Which One to Book
The real choice at Vedana Lagoon is water or hill: over-water villas put you on the lagoon with the sunset, while hillside villas give you more space, a bigger pool and forest around you. Ten room types share three pools, the spa and the restaurants. The pages below compare them by size, beds, view and pool, using the resort’s own figures wherever two sources disagree.
Facts checked October 2026 against the hotel’s published information.

Each villa type, and who it suits
45–48 m² · Lagoon view · King or twin
Lagoon View Deluxe
The entry category sits in a two-story building right on the embankment, so nothing stands between your balcony and the water. Inside there is a freestanding tub and an outdoor shower; the only extra bed is a sofa bed.
Book it if you want lagoon views and the resort facilities for one or two nights. Skip it if a private pool or a villa of your own is the reason you are coming.

Water Villa
These are the original over-water villas: red-brown tiled roofs, earthy walls, a large terrace facing the lagoon and a freestanding marble bathtub. You reach each one along its own straight timber jetty.
Book it if you want to sleep over the water and are happy to swim in the shared pools. Skip it if you want to step from your bed into a pool — that is the Water Pool Villa.

Water Pool Villa
The newer villas add an infinity pool of about 6.3 by 2.5 meters on the deck. The booking page sells two styles: Traditional, with dark wooden columns and patterned cement tiles, and Modern, with a glass floor panel over the water.
Book it if you want the classic Vedana stay — your own pool with the sunset over the lagoon. Skip it if you are traveling with toddlers who will be near an unfenced pool and open water.

Two-Bedroom Water Pool Villa
Two bedrooms sit either side of the private pool, one king and one with two singles, each with its own bathroom. The interior mixes modern and traditional pieces, and older sources say there are very few of these villas.
Book it if two couples or parents with older children want to stay over the water together. Skip it if you need both bedrooms under one roof with no pool between them.

Hillside Pool Villa
Set among trees on the slope of the headland, this one-bedroom villa has a much bigger pool than the water villas and views over the canopy to the lagoon and mountains. It was once sold as the honeymoon villa.
Book it if privacy and a pool you can swim lengths in matter more than sleeping over water. Skip it if walking uphill or waiting for a buggy after dinner would bother you.
Check this room’s availability →515 m² · 2 bedrooms · Kitchenette
Two-Bedroom Hillside Pool Villa
The two bedrooms are separated by a kitchenette, each with an en-suite, and the long pool runs through a garden with a thatched pavilion at the end. The 515 m² figure appears to include the garden; furnishing is traditional Vietnamese.
Book it if a family wants space, a kitchenette for snacks and a pool big enough for everyone. Skip it if you prefer modern interiors or want to be beside the lagoon.

Three- and Four-Bedroom Hillside Villas
Both are two-story houses with a 9 by 3.3 meter pool and mountain views. The three-bedroom villa has a living room and a full kitchen; the four-bedroom version has two bedrooms on each floor and no living room. Neither has an inside staircase linking the floors.
Book it if a group of six to eight adults wants one house and one pool. Skip it if anyone in your group struggles with outside stairs — there are no lifts.

Two-Bedroom Lagoon View Villa
Two rooms of about 72.5 m² each are joined into one villa on the shore, with one king and two singles and views across the lagoon to the hills. With no private pool, it is the calmer choice for parents of small children.
Book it if you have toddlers and want two rooms without water at the door. Skip it if a private pool is high on your list.

Two-Bedroom Lagoon View Pool Villa
This shoreline villa pairs a king room and a twin room with an outdoor pool of about 7.5 by 3 meters facing the lagoon. The resort describes the pool as an infinity shared pool, so ask whether your villa’s pool is private.
Book it if a family wants lagoon views and a pool without being over the water. Skip it if a guaranteed private pool is essential — confirm it before you pay.

How to land the right villa at Vedana Lagoon
01
Match by size, not name
The booking page lists a few names the resort does not use, such as two-bedroom water villas of 250 and 290 m². Compare the size and pool with the table above before you book.
02
Name the style you want
Water Pool Villas come in Traditional and Modern styles. If you want the glass floor or the wooden columns, book the rate that names that style rather than a generic one.
03
Put requests in writing
Twin beds, connecting rooms, a villa near the main buildings or a quiet end of the jetty are all on request. Add them to your booking and email the resort a week before arrival.
Honest note
The original Water Villas date from around 2012 and some fittings show their age, and every villa is furnished a little differently, so yours may not match the photos exactly. The resort has no lifts, and the larger hillside villas involve outside stairs and slopes.
Questions about the villas at Vedana Lagoon
Does the Modern Water Pool Villa at Vedana Lagoon really have a glass floor?
Yes. The resort says its Modern-style Water Pool Villas have a glass floor panel that looks straight down into the lagoon, while the Traditional style uses dark wooden columns and patterned cement tiles instead. On the booking page the two styles are separate rates of about 170 m² and 160 m², so choose the rate that names the one you want.
Which Vedana Lagoon villa has the biggest private pool?
The Hillside Pool Villa and the Two-Bedroom Hillside Pool Villa have the largest private pools, about 9 by 4.5 meters. The Three- and Four-Bedroom Hillside villas have pools of about 9 by 3.3 meters, and the Water Pool Villa about 6.3 by 2.5 meters. For real lengths, the 50-meter Twilight pool is open to every guest from 7 am to 7 pm.
What are the two-bedroom water villas of 250 and 290 m² on the booking page?
They do not appear under those names on the resort’s own site, which lists one Two-Bedroom Water Pool Villa of 350 m². They may be a Water Pool Villa combined with a second room, but we could not confirm the layout. If you want one of these rates, ask the resort how the two bedrooms connect and whether there is one pool or two.
Do any Vedana Lagoon villas have a kitchen?
The Three-Bedroom Hillside Pool Villa has a full kitchen with a dining table, and the Two-Bedroom Hillside Pool Villa has a kitchenette between its bedrooms. The Four-Bedroom Hillside Pool Deluxe has no living room or kitchen listed. Water villas and the Lagoon View rooms have a minibar but no kitchen, so meals come from the restaurants or in-villa dining.
Can I choose a king bed or twin beds at Vedana Lagoon?
Most one-bedroom types — Lagoon View Deluxe, Water Villa, Water Pool Villa and Hillside Pool Villa — come with either a king or two single beds. Pick the bed type on the booking page if it is offered, or add it as a request and confirm by email. Two-bedroom villas are fixed at one king room and one twin room.
Are the original Water Villas at Vedana Lagoon worth booking over the pool villas?
They are if being over the water matters more than a pool. At about 130 m² they have the same lagoon views, a large terrace and a marble bathtub, and they are usually the lower-priced way to sleep on the water. What you give up is the private pool and some of the newer finishes found in the Water Pool Villas.
